Organised by the Centre for Development of Teaching and Teaching (CDTL), the NUS Festival of Learning is a two-day programme that brings together faculty, students, and staff members in sharing ideas and good practices in teaching to optimise student learning, showcase excellent teachers in action, and celebrate teaching excellence.

Day 1 Higher Education Campus Conference (HECC) is about sharing effective practices in a contextualised and grounded way. It is also about sharing ideas in anticipation of future teaching and learning environments.

Day 2 is about excellent teachers presenting short examples and demos of their lessons. It is also about celebrating excellence in teaching through the recognition of excellent teachers and learning from recipients of the Outstanding Educator Award.

The NUS Provost’s keynote address on lifelong learning and adult education connects the idea of advancing a culture of teaching in the future learning space and how such transformation may have a significant impact on how we teach and how we view teaching excellence.
