The 2024 Outstanding Educator Award winner was announced at the University Awards ceremony on 30th August 2024. Recipients who excelled in teaching, each received a cash award and a teaching grant which is intended to enable the award winner to engage in activities that will support and enhance his/her role as an educator and contribute to teaching/learning at NUS.
Honour Roll (2024 - 2028)
Faculty members who have been awarded either the ATEA or ADEA three times (since AY 03/04) will be placed on the Honour Roll to honour their sustained high performance in teaching.
The faculty members below are placed on the Honour Roll (2024-2028) and will receive their award and certificate at the ATEA Ceremony cum OEA Public Lectures in 2024.
Please note:
Colleagues who have been placed on the Honour Roll will not be eligible to apply for the ATEA/ITEA for the next five years. The above faculty members can be nominated for ATEA/ITEA from August 2029 onwards. They will however be eligible for the OEA and to be a member (but not the leader) of a team applying for ATEA/ITEA Team Award.
Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA)
The ATEA recognises faculty members’ achievements in teaching, including instruction, educational design, assessment and feedback, as well as wider adoption of good practices in these areas through leadership and support of other colleagues.
