Teaching Awards 2025 Timeline

Date specified by respective FTECs Eligible faculty candidates submit their application and documentation to their respective FTECs via the University Teaching Awards Portal (UTAP)
21 October 2024
(Deadline for FTEC Submission to UTEC)		 FTECs submit selected applicants’ submissions & FTEC reports, where applicable, to UTEC c/o CTLT via the University Teaching Awards Portal (UTAP)
November – December 2024 Evaluation of applicants’ submissions by UTEC
Interview of shortlisted OEA applicants by UTEC
December 2024 – January 2025 UTEC deliberates and finalises reports for Office of the Deputy President (Academic Affairs) and Provost
February 2025 Approval of OEA & ATEA/ITEA recommendations by Office of the Deputy President (Academic Affairs) and Provost
Approval of OEA recommendations by the President
May-Aug 2025 (tentative) University Awards 2025
