Susan See Tho

CTLT Susan ST

Associate Director and Associate Professor

Susan is Associate Director of CTLT and as well, Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (Undergraduate Studies) with the NUS Business School. She is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) by profession and is certified in adult education and information systems’ risk. Being an educator who embraces social constructivism, Susan believes that learning is best facilitated in an environment that is highly relational, interactive, and experiential. Apart from her regular classroom facilitation and involvement in education administration, Susan’s pedagogical works revolve around curriculum and instructional design, and the application of technology and systems for learning and assessment. A former recipient of NUS LIFT and Blended Learning grants, Susan is an advocate for active learning through blended learning designs, problem-based learning, and work-study internship arrangements. Her educational research interests reside mainly in the philosophy, history and sociology of education.
