Robin Loon is a Deputy Director (Teaching & Learning) at CTLT, and an Associate Professor of Theatre Studies at the Department of English, Linguistics & Theatre Studies. A practising playwright and dramaturg, Robin also co-founded Centre 42, an arts development centre dedicated to the documentation, creation and promotion of texts for the Singapore stage. Apart from the theatre studies courses, Robin also co-teaches on GEN2001 “Theatre and Community Engagement” where he exposes students to the efficacy of theatre as a tool to engage communities. The first FASS faculty member to be placed on the FASS Inspiring Mentor Honour Roll, Robin believes in building communities with educators and learners.
