The Centre for Development of Teaching & Learning (CDTL) of the National University of Singapore (NUS), together with the European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (SHARE) Programme, co-hosted the SHARE-NUS Seminar on “Ensuring Quality During Challenging Times” last 22 November 2021 (Monday), 9.00am to 5pm and 23 November 2021 (Tuesday), 9.00am to 12.15pm.
This seminar took place in a hybrid format, with the physical event co-hosted by NUS. International participants virtually attended simultaneously through the online platform for some of the sessions.
This seminar was co-organised by SHARE and NUS. The SHARE Programme was funded by the European Union.

The SHARE National Seminar explores current Higher Education (HE) developments and their relation to Qualifications Frameworks (QF) / Quality Assurance (QA) by engaging national education stakeholders of ASEAN Member States through dialogue. Particularly during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the higher education sector has demonstrated a need to address quality in HE from a new perspective. Flexibility, a focus on digital learning, and the demand to ensure universities’ resilience challenge existing dogmata and approaches. This phenomenon can be observed worldwide. To contribute to the increased need for dialogue between university leadership, policy makers and practitioners, SHARE is convening a seminar on “Ensuring Quality during Challenging Times” in Singapore.
